White top linerboard is a multi-ply sheet with a white printing surface and a base sheet that is brown in color. Our product provides customers the ability to generate high-quality graphics with the strength to meet the needs of today’s high-performance packaging. Premium White Top
This multi-ply sheet has an enhanced white printing surface and a virgin kraft base sheet that is produced using heavy calendaring and surface treatments. Premium White Top provides ink hold-out levels unparalleled by other white top liners. It also offers a high level of process print capability and is an excellent option for those seeking added punch, high brightness and uniform appearance to white top graphics.

Coated White Top
Coated white top is designed to offer ultimate flexibility for high graphics users, with the ability to generate high-print gloss and ink density. It is post-printable without the aid of dryers, yet suitable for the demands of preprinters. Our lightly coated white top offers superior runnability and convertibility, with the compression strength of regular white tops.

Wet-Strength White Top
RockTenn’s wet strength grade provides higher strength retention under damp conditions. This linerboard is ideal for use in produce packaging as well as in applications that encounter water during use.

Solid Bleached Linerboard
Solid bleached linerboard is ideal for displays or premium packaging due to its uniform appearance and brightness (80). Our regular hold-out bleached linerboard is a single-ply sheet of bleached fibers produced with moderate calendaring and a surface treatment to promote optimal ink hold-out. It's ideal for line art and solid coverage printing.

Our HazMat linerboard grades provide customers with the ability to meet the needs of certain specialized hazardous material packaging applications with higher water resistance and targeted nominal basis weights. These products also enjoy the same strength characteristics as our standard linerboard grades.
